GED + SAT or ACT or AP
Answered

Hello! I would like to hear your suggestions for choosing the right standardized test for me. Due to the political situation in Myanmar, students aren't secured to go to school. Since I'm also a Myanmar student,I only have to learn via online. So, I decided to start my GED journey in coming few months. My online school is a US certified organization which provides hybrid curriculum (GED + national curriculum), and they are connected to many private universities in US and Thailand. To keep it short, I also want to prepare for scholarship after graduating high school because my family can't support me fully like before due to the inflation in Myanmar. So, I would love to if I prepare AP or SAT or ACT along with GED, would it be possible to get scholarship in UK. If yes for AP, which subjects should I choose? In addition, I have a lot of extra curriculums to show such as volunteering, scout, first aid and so on. Thank u.

To clarify things a bit, SAT and ACT are standardized test that contribute to your admissions decision if you submit the scores whereas APs are more of credit exams that show high course rigor.

I'm not sure about what you mean by "national curriculum," but if it is already rigorous, APs will work for credit.

You don't necessarily have to give both SAT and ACT. The international versions are more expensive. Check the test policies of the universities you'll be applying to before deciding whether to take SAT/ACT. Which one you take depends on your comfort level.

For APs, which subjects you take really depends on your intended major.
