My process

First I'd like to welcome you to my profile and express my appreciation that you have considered me up to this point to guide your loved ones through the circus known as the college admissions process.

My methodology centers around a scholastic and research-oriented approach where I discover the seed of profundity within an applicant's story, and help them express it in its full bloom. In doing so, I strive to ensure that the ideas and themes in their essays are both clear and sufficiently deep, thus enabling them to distinguish themselves from other applicants who have received assistance from other admission consultants.

Once the central themes of my client's Common App essays are established, I assist them in crafting their supplemental essays through that same lens. This ensures that their entire application presents itself as a seamless and organically unified narrative, rather than disjointed responses to individual questions.

Beyond essays, I help clients obtain the most compelling letters of recommendation possible, and if time permits, help them establish contacts with professors which can serve to augment their 'why major' and 'why college' essays. I accomplish the former by identifying in their essays themes and statements which can benefit from external validation from teachers and guidance counselors. For the latter, I stay up to date with the latest peer-reviewed publications and pre-prints of professors who would be good points of contact for my clients, and coach my clients on how to approach these professors in the most intelligent manner possible.

Above all, my primary aim is to demystify the college admissions process for both parents and applicants, offering support and guidance whenever needed throughout the journey. If you have any questions, my inbox is always open.

Tips for success
1. Prepare for your first session
Plan out the questions and topics you'd like to discuss. If you'd like to work together in the long term, discuss expectations for each other.
