My process

I pursue a scholastic and research-oriented approach to college consulting inspired by my experience as a physics Ph.D. student at Yale to help my clients craft original applications which contain insights that are profound enough to stand out amongst the plethora of essays that other consultants have helped in creating. In addition to essays, my services include help in procuring the best letters of recommendation possible that corroborate the main points of my client's essays, help with obtaining scholarships, and help getting them in contact with professors from the colleges that they are applying to. I accomplish this by researching and analyzing the prompts of the common app, supplemental, and scholarship essays in depth and then providing an outline to my clients and going through multiple rounds of edits and refinements with them. After the essays are written I highlight in them what statements and themes can benefit from external corroboration so their recommenders can provide that corroboration. Additionally, I read the recent publication of certain professors at the colleges my clients are applying for and transmit that information back to them in an easy to understand manner so they are in the best position to get in contact with them. I provide additional services as well that I would love to go over with prospective clients in a free consultation.
Tips for success
1. Prepare for your first session
Plan out the questions and topics you'd like to discuss. If you'd like to work together in the long term, discuss expectations for each other.
