About

Lydia has worked as an applications consultant since 2017. Her clients have won admission to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Brown, UPenn, Northwestern, UChicago, Dartmouth, UC Berkeley, Johns Hopkins, Notre Dame, and more. Her intensive clients (students who purchase a package) consistently gain admission into their top schools. She has worked with hundreds of students from diverse international, socioeconomic, racial, and academic backgrounds to help them achieve their college dreams. As an older sister, she loves helping younger students perfect their essay writing skills, strategize their school lists, define their admissions narratives, reflect on their personal goals, and develop their extracurriculars. If you are a highly ambitious student looking for personalized guidance on elite admissions, Lydia can help you perfect your admissions narrative and essays.

My process

No two students or families are alike, which is why my advising services are highly personalized. To achieve this, I invest in getting to know my students and their families – in fact, I am still in contact with many former students! I meet students where they are – whether that’s preparing them to apply to an Ivy League or helping them narrow down a potential major.

I specialize in elite admission and have deep knowledge of the Ivy League admissions process, having reviewed the comments on my own Yale admissions file.

“Lydia's feedback is not the standard grammar check. She really digs in and helps you structure your essay in a much more persuasive and original way. Lydia's feedback helped my essays SIGNIFICANTLY, and helped me get into UPenn! I highly recommend submitting your essay to Lydia if you want good, deep feedback."

Sanya K.

“The review came in a timely manner and was surprisingly quick. However, it was hard to get in contact after the review. I also wish more essay-specific advice had been given. "

“The review was really in-depth and provided helpful insight for my future applications."

Tips for success
1. Prepare for your first session
Plan out the questions and topics you'd like to discuss. If you'd like to work together in the long term, discuss expectations for each other.
