Hi! My name is Brian and I graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2021 with a BA in Public Health Studies. While at Hopkins, I was a Pre-Med and heavily involved in medical-related extracurriculars such as biochemistry and immunology research, clinical volunteering, and being Editor-In-Chief of a medical news journal. I also interned in the field of public health, completing internships in tobacco policy research and mental health research. I spent one gap year working as a medical assistant at an orthopedic clinic and will attend the University of Iowa for medical school in Fall 2022.I previously worked as an Applications Consultant at CollegeVine for two years, guiding clients through all aspects of the college applications process including school list creation, essay editing, and interview prep. My process
I provide guidance on all aspects of the college application process that is backed by a variety of sources, from my own experiences to my experiences helping students and conversations with my peers. I aim to get to know every student on a personal level, as I believe that partnerships are most successful when I thoroughly understand my students' preferences and goals. I provide comprehensive feedback on both specific details of essays/applications as well as overall narratives/themes of applications.Please keep in mind that I am also a medical student and may be limited in my ability to take you on if you have interest in a package later in the college admissions cycle. High School Summer Research Camps (Starter)

Summer research camps offer unique and valuable opportunities for students to get involved with real, in-depth research in a specific area early on. They expose students to potential career interests, introduce them to like-minded peers, and help make their college applications more competitive. However, these camps themselves are selective and require specialized knowledge and guidance in order to have the best possible chance at admission.I have successfully guided clients to admission to camps like SSTP, SSP, Garcia, and RSI. This package is intended to guide high school students interested in applying to summer research camps through the application process. We will have an initial introduction/goal setting session, brainstorming of essay topics, essay editing sessions, and a wrap-up session. I will also be available for questions and other communications via email throughout the duration of the package.

This package is intended to help students construct their Common App or similar essay from start to finish. We will have an initial brainstorming session, a session to focus on writing techniques and style, and multiple editing sessions. Designed for students who want comprehensive guidance with all aspects of the applications process. We will craft an admissions theme, build a school list, edit the college application, brainstorm and edit all relevant essays, and do interview prep. I will also be available for questions regarding recommendation letters, senior classes, etc. that are relevant to the college applications process. The goal of this package is to help the student successfully navigate the college applications cycle and achieve acceptance to one or more schools they are satisfied with.

This package is mainly designed for students who intend to apply to BS/MD programs and apply to colleges with medicine-focused applications.
