About

The college applications process is all about responding to one question: who are you? I am passionate about helping students craft a creative answer. I have been helping students gain admission to the T25 schools of their dreams since 2018. Soon after graduating from Georgetown University with a B.A. in History and minors in French and Russian (I also speak Portuguese), I made college advising my career. I currently mentor students through the entire admissions process during one-on-one consulting sessions. I also have expertise in MBA applications, and helped an entrepreneur who did not finish undergrad gain admission to the Cambridge Judge MBA program. When I am not advising or hosting a CollegeVine livestream, you can find me taking a road trip or reading a novel in French.

My process

I take a personalized approach to advising that puts clients first. I help them sell themselves through 1:1 sessions where we work together on a Google Drive document. Through my packages and individual sessions, I can help you with any and all parts of the college applications process, including financial aid and finding scholarships.

“The review was very personalized and gave me great ideas that I can expand on. I am very thankful for the feedback and now feel more confident with my essay than I was before!"

“Alexander's feedback was extremely value, and significantly improved the flow and clarity of my essay. He not only provided good ideas for wordsmithing, but also gave me suggestions to have a more outwardly facing ending, which I truly appreciated. I highly recommend him for people that have a rough draft or a draft that has undergone 1-2 edits. He will enhance your essay no question!"

Tips for success
1. Prepare for your first session
Plan out the questions and topics you'd like to discuss. If you'd like to work together in the long term, discuss expectations for each other.
