Can I still apply for financial aid?

I’m a current IB student in my final years and I’m considering applying to either Harvard, MIT or Stanford. And here’s the problem, my non custodial parent (my dad) just recently passed away. And I don’t know if I’ll be eligible for financial aid since Harvard and MIT require me to submit informations on both custodial and non custodial parent. My question is, are there any workarounds or any forms that I would have to file in order to be able to apply for financial aid?

Thanks in advance!

I believe you would still qualify for financial aid, check the colleges websites. Also, so sorry for your loss.
