Which degree would work?
I've kind of narrowed down my options.
I want to go into business.
Those are my top majors (generally the same area of study)
Those are my top minors.
I'm leaning towards sociology or business admin major and comp sci or psych minor. Any thoughts on computer science 4 business? Also, if you have other ideas or think a certain combo would be great, PLEASE share! Thanks!

So my field that Im interested in is not common so I know I want to tailor my minors that way so my ideal scenario is Civil engineering with minors in statistics and maybe economics so try knowing if one would give a leg up in a field and or serve as a back up as minors are great for passions as the saying major in career and minor in hobbies applies.
I will state business admin has a better career outlook than sociology and for minor Id recommend either comp sci for being more technical or if you are people facing (people who deal with customers) consider communications or pysch/sociology with preference for the former or if you like HR and want to go into it consider taking HR or just take electives in it also.
Hope this helps!
If you’re seriously interested in comp sci as a minor, I think it’s a really solid choice. Even if you don’t want to become a software developer, knowing a bit about software and working with technology will definitely come in handy for many roles in business, from entry-level roles to leadership roles! Businesses are increasingly looking for and valuing people with technical skills. All of the people I know in HR, Marketing, and Businesses Admin use software every day to do their job. Having a minor in CS not only gives you valuable skills to be really good at your business role, but would likely broaden your career options (eg. You could work at a business that builds software for HR or Marketing teams!) Those companies have businesses roles outside of software engineering and would likely value someone with both a marketing and CS degree, for example!
Many colleges give you a bit of flexibility on the timing of when to pick your minor, so you might be able to take a few classes to explore these options and figure out what you like most before committing!
I think Business Admin would be the most flexible and open up more opportunities, but it's really just up to what you're interested in.
