What happened to the chancing calculator?
Answered

It was nice to keep the 'network' and 'chancing' seperate because in the network, I was honest. In the chancing, I could toy around with how different ec's and rigor would affect my chances. Is the chancing tool still there?

Hey @McKellarr ! We actually have a new feature -- the chancing simulator -- just for this purpose! We rolled it out at the same time as the main profile, so now you get the best of both worlds: You can experiment with your chances, but you can also use your profile as a source of truth. We calculate your chances on other parts of the site (dashboard, school list, etc.) from your main profile, and you can still simulate your chances without actually making changes to it.

Here's a link to the chancing simulator: https://www.collegevine.com/chancing/simulator

Hopefully this answers your question! And let us know if you have any more!

Hi! You can access the chancing calculator by clicking on the three dots (...) located on the navigation bar on the right of the 💰 icon and to the left of the profile icon. Then you can click on "Calculate your chances" located under the Colleges header.

Three Dots (...) > Calculate your chances (under Colleges header)

I hope this helps :)

Hello,

From my experience, the chance calculator appears when you add a college to your list. When I look at my dashboard, I have chances (percentages) of getting into that school with my stats.

Hope this helps.
