The 2022-2023 FAFSA and CSS Profile can be submitted beginning on October 1, 2021. You have 14 months to wait until you can submit. It is not available currently for the Class of 2021 so even I have to wait until October 1, 2020.

So like the fafsa fill it out as quickly as possible so as soon as your able to. If I remember correctly you can fill it out now.

As aid is usually first come first serve getting it sent to the school as early as possible only helps you.

So as you are a rising junior currently do it in the late summer before Senior year.

This is actually not accurate - the FAFSA doesn't open until the fall you apply to college (October). You should do it as soon as you can once it opens, but it's not open to rising seniors now.
