Making my profile public

If I turn my profile on and all schools can see (or even just my list), will my exam scores be displayed? I am considering test optional on my reach / hard targets. Thank you.

By making your profile public, your GPA, class rank, test scores, coursework, college preferences, demographics, and extracurriculars are all viewable by colleges.

Thank you, very helpful! I'm unsure on how to proceed as my weighted GPA is higher (I assume colleges will see weighted also) and my major is pretty narrow (I don't want to exclude schools that I'm not focused on). Also, I am curious whether schools on my list will take already have on record when I do apply (either good or bad). I'd rather my application with essays as applicable, recommendations etc be used to formulate a pre-existing view.

Of course, no college is going to save your collegevine information for later. This is just for colleges to go searching for those who meet their standards. I highly doubt any prestigious university uses collegevine to find students, as most of them use College Board Student Search Service.

I believe they are only viewable by your colleges I highly doubt your info would be published

Thanks for reaching out! Just chiming in to confirm that public profiles will display all aspects of your academic profile included in your CollegeVine account. Like another user noted in their answer, GPA, class rank, test scores, coursework, college preferences, demographics, and extracurriculars will be visible to colleges.
