How do I get a referral code?

My friend had invited me to CollegeVine and we've been trying to find a referral code but we can't seem to find one? We've found multiple other discussions but all ask me to click the karma link on the top header. There is nothing on there that has a referral code.

Go to the bar in the middle and type in their email, then hit send invite.

Youre supposed to refer other people. Are you trying to refer yourself?
