Common App Prompt Help

Is there such thing as having a dumb response to question 6? I feel like what interests me is not going to be appealing to colleges.

Question 6: Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more?

These prompts are spaces for you to tell your story, and of course, there is no right story! Every story is right and interesting in its own way. I think you should write about what interests you. Bring out your passion in words, let the colleges feel the passion. Your interest is unique to you, don't lose that! Write about your interest and make it engaging! You can do this!
