Taking an extra course in communtiy college

Hello everyone, I'm planning to take an extra course, like Biology, but in college level by taking it in my local community college. But, I'm not too sure how to start and how to apply in those colleges?

It would be really helpful if you guys could provide some tips or any info related to it!

I would recommend contacting the college's admissions team or dual enrollment staff! They are very helpful when starting your first dual enrollment classes (at least in my experience). Tbh, my high school counselor was no help in the process so I would recommend directly working with the school you want to apply for.

I was in the same situation last year, and the best thing to do is to contact your high school counselor as well as the community college’s counselor. I would also consider talking to someone you may know who has done the same thing or a parent if they attended college.

I am not sure either, however, my school has a program where you can take college classes at the community college nearby and they pay for it.

My best advice would be for you to go to your guidance counselor and ask about opportunities like those as well as whether or not the school offers it.
