So I applied for the Oxford summer course, in business and administration, and it seems like my application is under consideration. They have emailed me back and stated that they want my personal statement which includes:
1. What would make me a good student at Oxford Summer Courses?
2. Why would I like to study with them?
3. Any experience that I’ve had in the subject previously?
Well, though I know what points to include and tell all the qualities I have and my experience, but I don't really know how to give it a really good and engaging start. I really want to give them a good first impression. Any ideas on how to start off the statement?
Hey! This seems like an awesome opportunity!
So for the first question, I would incorporate your grades and what drew you into the school in the first place.
The second question is really straightforward.
Then, add any experience, so whether you have your own business or need help managing one, take a class at school.
When asked these questions, most schools want to know more about you. Be passionate in the answer you give them, but also show them you have the qualities to take the course.
Good luck!
