What's the best SAT superscore strategy
Answered

I've accepted that I am not getting that 1500+ SAT score in one sitting, I just don't have the time to study per-test dates. I do an extracurricular that has competitions on weekends, and I'm praying that they don't overlap with the SAT, but in years past they have (this season it was twice). I plan to take the SAT 3 times, one for the feel, and two to superscore. My goal is to get a score above 1400. I've taken all of the math courses covered on the SAT by freshman year (my school allows you to take honors 9th-grade courses starting in 7th), and my vocabulary is naturally good, so I don't believe that I should get lower than a 1200 going in blind. Does anyone have experience with this type of test-taking method, and any tips you have?

for SATs js do a LOT of past papers.

maths section, is pretty straight forward: find past papers/questions, and do them. after u finished, mark it, see what you got wrong and then study that etc. do harder questions then what u would expect to be included in SATs - it helps a bunch. and when ur doing past papers, try not to look at the potential answers to the multiple choice for help (ofc do that in the real exam) - instead come up w ur own answer (if ykwim)

plus, its all multi-choice (I think) so even if u have no clue what the answer is, use process of elimination, or make a super educated guess if ur feeling desperate - u have a 25% chance of getting it right. i think ull be fine for english if u have good vocab

I take AS, we have a MC paper which i assume is similar to SATs (very slightly). during the test, remember to thoroughly write down all ur working etc, so its easier when u go back to check during the test. highlight the questions u don't know the answers to. js keep checking over ur answers (properly) until time is over - cover ur answers and redo the question. also dont panic when u don't know the answer. and also sometimes u can find answers/hints to other questions in the paper. also, answer all the questions even if ur not quite sure what the answers are. and calm down during the exams. For maths it's super easy to get 100% (not sure what that translates to in SATs) . I usually get high 90s and stuff and i'm pretty dumb. also work backwards from the potential multiple choice answers if u have enough time.

also do SATs do scaling??? If they do, ur algs

I recommend using the Blurt study method. It is easy and doesn't take too much time. Otherwise, I recommend making flashcards with Quizlet that you can study with games. You can also find different formats for each subject of notes.
