Hi!!! I'm a junior and I just took the SAT for the second time! I got a 1130 the first time (620 on ELA, 510 on Math). As you can see I'm not great at math. My next score comes out Friday hoping for at least a 1200. I will definitely be taking it 2-3 more times. My final goal is 1300+. My top college is UGA I am instate and 4.0 uw GPA, pretty good ECs, and course rigor. The main issue is my SAT. SEND HELP!!!
literally learn how to use the desmos calculator. I'm not the best at math either, (70 point difference between math and reading) but a lot of equations I couldn't do on paper, I could do easily on desmos. Besides that don't worry yourself with how to work it out on paper, focus on how the equations work. English tbh take the bluebook practice tests and read the explanations on craft and everything else. Bluebook is free and pretty easy to do so just take the practice tests and read the explanations.

That's great! To get 1300+ you need around 30 more points all else the same. So keep doing what you did to get the 550 and use the tips that both of us gave you. Good luck!
I highly recommend what I did---I went from a 1470 to a 1500+ in one test using this method (just a suggestion!) and I'm not particularly strong in math either.
So I first went to Khan Academy and went through the entire math course. Contrary to what many people would say, this is NOT always enough prep on its own. I would then recommend just doing as many practice questions as you can on Bluebook or Oneprep (a free website with practice question banks.)
Lastly, I would recommend watching YouTube videos, on both specific questions and Desmos strategies. Desmos helps a LOT with math, and specific math questions can really trip you up if you don't know how to do them. This is exactly what I did to get a higher score---hopefully it works for you! Good luck!
