It seems like a lot of you have already taken the SATs. Is there any study advice you could give me to prep? I take the SATs in spring.
Learn how to use the desmos graphing calculator, I'm not the best at math but I was able to score way better than I would have by using the calculators, as long as you know the equations and formulas then you could maybe even get a perfect 800. For english really read into the reasoning on the practice tests, take notes and drill it in, doing this got me a 750 on english. Good Luck
Thank u. I have no idea how to use the calculator, though. :{
I'm pretty sure you can watch a youtube video and learn, but desmos will literally graph the equation for you and can show you what you're looking for quite easily. Also mess around with it just search up desmos graphing calculator.
I have a TI scientific calculator. Is this different than the desmos graphing calculator?
no not really, desmos is can do more though.
Ooh, ok. Thank you, Leroidroid!
Take a practice test but don't take them all at once. Practice tests are like money; you can't spend it all at once or you'll have none left for the future. I would use your results to help you prep. Also look at the Reddit SAT page, the people on there know what they're talking about.
Alright, thanks.
I AGREE WITH YOUU
I would recommend reviewing all the questions you got wrong on the practices. Be sure to review the question, your answer, the correct answer, and how to solve the question (or reasoning for the Reading & Writing portion). The SAT often tests the same concepts multiple times. This is a good way to really understand which concepts are tricky for you and prevent future mistakes on the same type of question.
I've been doing that, but I want to make sure I'm learning the content, not just memorizing the answers.
Then you should check out the Khan Academy SAT practice. They have videos and lessons posted for each topic.
Ok, tysm!
