Asking for more financial aid/scholarships?
I'm a senior in hs and just got a couple of acceptances. I currently have a 4.0/95.8 gpa unweighted and a 101.9 weighted. Most of the colleges I've gotten acceptances from have given me their presidential scholarships and encouraged I apply for their honors programs, but it's still not enough merit aid. I'm going to be filling out financial aid as soon as it opens but I doubt I'll get much aid...has anyone had any success calling the office of financial aid and asking for more money? I've heard it has a pretty high success rate but I was wondering if anyone had any advice?
