I've built what I think is a pretty good list, but I don't know if I should improve it. I'm looking to major in physics. Let me know any suggestions, thanks

So, why are you applying to a lot of state schools?
There's only 2 and 1 is washu
Really? There's UCSD, UMich, UT Austin, University of Florida, University of Washington (Seattle), and UCSB. You don't consider those as state schools?
Oh, I thought you meant in state. But also because I like larger, more urban schools. State schools just happen to have those qualities
Be careful about these state schools. Tons of private schools have these qualities. So, if you really want these schools instead of comparable private options, especially for the UCs, you must figure out why consider them with your financial status.
Why? They are all great schools and have more affordable tuitions than a lot of private schools. If you have any private colleges to consider, please let me know, but I'm not sure what the problem is
You're certainly right that these are great schools. But you're paying a larger sum of tuition than someone like a California resident, especially for UCs and schools with very limited financial aid. I have some private colleges to consider. Though, I have no clue what are you looking for besides a strong program for physics.
