SRAR for NYU?

I was checking NYU's application and I came across the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR). Could anyone clarify what information I need to include, or tips to fill it out correctly? Thanks!

Absolutely, I'd be happy to help clarify the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) for NYU!

The SRAR is essentially a tool that allows you to list all of your high school courses and the corresponding grades you received, just like a transcript but with you inputting the information. It replaces having to send in an official high school transcript during the application process.

When filling out the SRAR, make sure you include the following information:

1. The exact names of all your high school courses as they appear on your transcript.

2. The grades you received for each term of a given course. If your school operates on semesters, include both the fall and spring semester grades. If your school gives yearly grades, then just enter that yearly grade.

3. The level of the course (such as AP, Honors, General, etc.) if applicable.

4. This includes all courses from grades 9 through 11, as well as your predicted senior year courses. As for tips:

- Stay consistent: Make sure the class names, levels, and grades match what's printed on your transcript. Any significant discrepancies could delay your admission decision.

- Include all classes: Don't omit any courses, even if you think they're not relevant. It's important to provide a comprehensive view of your academic history. This includes non-academic classes like PE.

- Check your work: Review your entries thoroughly before submission to avoid any mistakes or inconsistencies.

The SRAR gives NYU admissions a detailed snapshot of your academic performance throughout high school. Be meticulous and truthful in your class and grade entries for the most accurate representation. Good luck!
