Sure, happy to help with this question! Washington State has a number of institutions that have a reputation for supporting veteran and military students.

The University of Washington, for instance, has a dedicated Office of Student Veteran Life that offers a broad range of services including benefits and financial counseling, transitioning support, and academic resources. They also have a Veterans Center which offers tutoring, study spaces, and an environment in which to connect with fellow veterans.

Washington State University also has a comprehensive support system in place for military students, including a dedicated Military and Veterans Affairs department. They have a Veterans Center as well for studying, connecting with other veterans, and relaxing. They also offer a host of resources to help military students transition to college life and assist with navigating financial aid and scholarships devoted to military students.

The public technical and community colleges in the state, like Tacoma Community College and South Puget Sound Community College also have noted support services and resources for military and veteran students. Community colleges often have strong partnerships with local military installations, which can be beneficial.

Each school may offer varying levels of support and services, so it's worth looking into each institution in more detail, and possibly arranging visits or reaching out with any questions you may have. Remember, support can come in many forms including help accessing GI Bill benefits, mental health services, tutoring, career counseling, and having an understanding community of other veteran or military students.
