Getting into Oxford University as a U.S. Student

I'd love to study at Oxford University, but I realize it's a long shot. They have a different system compared to U.S. unis, so I'm a bit in the dark. Anyone have any advice or information on this? How can a U.S high schooler like me get in?

As an additional note, the application deadline for Oxford is very early compared to many U.S. universities; if you're applying for entry in the year 2025, you'll need to submit your application by October 15, 2024.
