I'm a rising junior and super excited by the idea of studying at Ohio State! Can any Buckeye inform me if they have an early action program for admissions, and if so, by when should my application be submitted?
Absolutely, Ohio State University does have an early action (EA) program for admissions. The EA deadline is typically November 1. By choosing to apply by this deadline, you'll hear back from the admissions office sooner, usually by mid December.
Remember, the date is not just for submitting the Common Application. Your entire application file—including your high school transcripts, two references, standardized test scores (if you choose to submit them), and any additional documents—needs to be complete by that date. Therefore, it's always a good idea to start gathering and submitting these materials well in advance of the deadline.
Best of luck with your application! I hope you become a Buckeye soon!
