UC Santa Barbara scholarships

So I'm really interested in attending UC Santa Barbara, but the cost is a big concern for me. Can anyone give me some insight into what scholarships are available at UCSB? And what's the best way to apply for them?

UC Santa Barbara (UCSB) offers a variety of scholarships for its incoming and existing students. While there are numerous options, one standout merit-based program is the Regents Scholarship, which is awarded to the top 1-2% of the incoming freshman class and comes with some unique benefits like priority class registration.

UCSB also offers the Chancellor's Scholarship. It's highly competitive and based on academic achievement, leadership, community service, and more. Additionally, various UCSB departments have scholarships for students majoring in their fields. For need-based financial aid, UCSB uses the FAFSA form. So, to be eligible for the most need-based aid, including institutional grants, you should complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after December 1st. (The California state deadline for the FAFSA is May 2nd, but earlier submission often allows for best consideration.)
