Online Colleges For Military Individuals

I'm considering joining the military after graduation and I'm wondering about the possibility of attending college online while doing so. Does anyone have any suggestions for good online colleges that serve military individuals?

Response: Absolutely, pursuing an education while serving in the military is completely feasible and encouraged by many. In fact, many higher education institutions are well-equipped to accommodate the unique needs and schedules of military personnel.

For instance, Penn State World Campus is a well-known online college with a strong reputation. They strive to be accommodating to military personnel, with flexible schedules and military-friendly policies. As an added bonus, they accept military benefits and they even have a dedicated Military Team to assist with any specific concerns or issues that may arise.

Arizona State University (ASU) Online is another excellent choice. They are recognized for their strong online degree programs across a broad array of disciplines. ASU's Pat Tillman Veterans Center provides military and veteran students with resources and support to succeed.

Lastly, Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) offers online programs in a range of fields from liberal arts to STEM. They are known for being incredibly military-friendly and also accept military benefits.

Remember, as you consider schools, review each college for its credit transfer policies, accredidation, and the extent to which they're willing to work with military benefits or discounts. It's important to find a school that can be flexible with deployments and any other potential disruptions due to your military service. Overall, the best college for you will depend on your personal goals, field of interest, and learning style. Good luck with your research!
