Military Prep Colleges - Worth it?

I'm seriously considering military service after high school and I've been looking into military prep colleges. Are they worth attending or should I go a different route?

Considering a military career is a noble and rewarding path. Military prep colleges can provide a valuable foundation if you're certain about wanting to serve. These institutions aim to prepare students both academically and physically for service in the military, while also focusing on character and leadership development.

One notable advantage of attending a military prep college, such as the United States Military Academy (West Point), the United States Naval Academy, or the United States Air Force Academy, is that they offer a full four-year scholarship. This includes tuition, room and board, and even a monthly stipend.
