Clemson University Merit Scholarships

I'm considering applying to Clemson and I'm curious about what kind of merit scholarships they might offer. Does anyone know what scholarships are available, the eligibility criteria, or how to apply for them?

Clemson University offers several merit-based scholarships to incoming freshmen. Some of the more notable scholarships include:

1. National Scholars Program: This is highly competitive and offers out-of-state students an award covering tuition, fees, room and board, a stipend for books, and personal expenses. Applicants with high test scores and an academically rigorous high school course load are considered. There is also an interview process.

2. Clemson Scholars Program: This program offers both in-state and out-of-state students renewable scholarships typically ranging from $3,500 per year for a total of $10,500. 3. Blue Ridge Electric Co-op Scholars Program: This is available for upstate South Carolina residents who are members of the Blue Ridge Electric Co-op. There's a separate application that needs to be completed for this one.

4. Departmental Scholarships: These are awarded by the specific colleges within the university (like the College of Engineering or the College of Business).
