Military Friendly Colleges in Colorado

I'm looking at serving in the military after high school but want to return to my home state Colorado for college. Can anyone recommend military-friendly colleges in Colorado?

Absolutely, there are several excellent colleges in Colorado that have strong support systems and resources for military veterans.

The University of Colorado - Boulder is one institution which has a dedicated Office of Veteran Services. This office provides several resources, including help with the GI Bill and other VA benefits, and a transition and access program for veterans and their families. Moreover, UC Boulder has a strong reputation for its academic programs.

Colorado State University in Fort Collins is another great option. The university has a strong commitment to providing resources to its veterans through its Adult Learner and Veteran Services. They also offer a Veterans Educational Benefits Office that can help with any questions regarding benefits.

The University of Denver is also worth considering. The institution provides a wealth of resources for veterans, including support services such as an active Student Veterans Association, academic and career counseling specifically targeted for veterans, assistance with VA education benefits, and more.

Lastly, the Colorado School of Mines, renowned for its top-tier engineering programs, also offers comprehensive support for veterans including specialized onboarding, academic support, career services, and a very active veterans association.

Overall, these colleges not only offer strong academic programs but also substantial support to their veteran students. The choice would depend on what course of study interests you the most, as each of these schools has distinct strengths.
