Info on BU's Early Action?

Hello! Does Boston University have an Early Action option? This info would help me map out my application timeline. Thanks in advance!

Boston University actually doesn't offer an Early Action option. They go for Early Decision and Regular Decision. They have two Early Decision rounds: ED I and ED II. ED I has a deadline of November 1, and you'll get your decision back by December 15. ED II deadlines are a tad more relaxed, with the application deadline at January 6 and you'll receive the decision by February 15.

Remember that applying Early Decision means you're entering a binding agreement to attend if admitted and offered a financial aid package that your family can manage. So only consider this if Boston University is your top choice.

If you'd prefer to keep your options open, you may want to consider the Regular Decision pathway. The deadline for this is January 6, similar to ED II, and the decision will be sent by April 1.
