Auburn out of state scholarships?

I'm an out-of-state student who's seriously considering Auburn! I was just wondering, does Auburn provide scholarships for out-of-state students and if so, what are they like? Thanks ahead of time!

Absolutely, Auburn University does offer scholarships for out-of-state students! Let's dive into some of them.

The "Presidential Scholarship" covers non-resident tuition for four years. You need to have a minimum 3.5 GPA and a 32 ACT or 1420 SAT to qualify. Keep in mind that this is quite a competitive award, so even meeting these requirements doesn't guarantee you'll receive it.

Next, there's the "Founders Scholarship." This one offers $48,000 over four years. The eligibility requirements are a 3.0 GPA and a 28 ACT or 1300 SAT score.

The "Ever to Conquer Scholarship," provides $24,000 over four years. Students need a 3.0 GPA and a 25 ACT or 1200 SAT score.

Lastly, "War Eagle Scholarship" offers $8,000 over four years with minimum 3.0 GPA and 24 ACT or 1160 SAT score.

These scholarships have December 1st as the priority deadline, and you have to be accepted by that date to qualify. No separate application is required for these scholarships, except for the need to submit the scholarship application through AUSOM, Auburn's scholarship portal, by the deadline.

Remember that these are primarily based on academic performance (GPA and test scores), but other factors like extracurricular activities can also play a role in the selection process. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, I would highly recommend checking out Auburn’s official financial aid and scholarship webpage to get the detailed, current, and comprehensive information.

Good luck with your college journey!
