I think I'm stressing out more than I should about when I'll hear back from UT Austin. Can anyone help me with when they typically send out their admissions decisions? Also, any tips on how to pass the time while waiting for a decision would be awesome!
For fall 2025 decisions, UT Austin will release results for Early Action applicants by January 15 and all other applicants by February 15.
As for passing the time while waiting, this can be an anxious period, but it's crucial to keep your mind busy. Continue to focus on your school work and maintaining your grades, because your performance in your senior year can still matter.
Besides academics, carry on with any extracurricular activities you're engaged in. They'll not only keep you busy, but also add to your resume, which is valuable for both college (in the case of waitlists) and potential jobs.
Finally, try to spend some time with family and friends, engage in physical activities or hobbies that you love. Self-care helps alleviate stress and keep you balanced. Just keep in mind that you've done your part in applying, and the rest is out of your hands. Though the wait might be nerve-wracking, remember that you'll soon be on the path that's just right for you!
Fingers crossed!
