Currently working on my QuestBridge application - does anyone know if all the partner schools offer full scholarships? I'm aiming to relieve as much financial burden as possible. Any insight into this would be really helpful!
All QuestBridge partner schools commit to meeting 100% of demonstrated financial need for its students. If you match with any of the partner schools through QuestBridge, you will receive a full four-year Match Scholarship that is loan-free and covers tuition, room and board, and additional expenses. It's certainly an excellent program aimed at lifting the financial burden off the shoulders of high-achieving, lower-income students.
However, even if you don't match, becoming a Finalist can still be beneficial. Many partner schools will continue to review non-matched Finalists in the Regular Decision process. An offer of admission as a non-matched Finalist will typically come with a financial aid package provided by the college that meets the full demonstrated need of the student. This may contain a combination of grants, work-study, and potentially, a manageable amount of student loans. In many cases, these financial aid packages are still quite generous.
Your best port of call should be to research each partner college's financial aid policy for QuestBridge applicants, understanding that financial aid may vary from school to school. And of course, don't forget to complete all additional financial aid applications required by the colleges on your list (like the FAFSA or College Scholarship Service PROFILE).
