Military School VT Experiences?

I've been scouting different military schools and the Military College of Vermont caught my eye. Does anyone have any personal experiences or insights about this school?

Hello there! The Military College of Vermont, also known as Norwich University, is known for its Corps of Cadets, which is a student military lifestyle program. The program involves living in a military-style barracks with strict daily routines, participating in physical training, as well as taking military science classes.Keep in mind that Norwich University also offers a conventional college experience with the usual campus life, but a significant portion of students choose to participate in the Corps of Cadets for a military-style education. One distinguishing factor of Norwich University is its balanced approach towards academic education and military disciplines. You'll be able to participate in challenging coursework, but also receive significant leadership development and physical training. Moreover, Norwich University offers both Army and Air Force ROTC programs. As such, it may be a great choice if you’re planning to commission as an officer after graduation.

One piece of advice, though, would be to visit the campus if you can or reach out to the admissions office to get a feel for the school culture, it's important to ensure it aligns with your personal preference and career aspirations. One example would be its diverse group of alumni who have successfully transitioned into various fields, such as business, politics, defense, and even astronautics. So not only does the university provides a supportive environment for military education but also facilitates ambitious career aspirations.Remember that a military college experience will be more demanding and regimented than a traditional college experience, but it also provides invaluable leadership experiences and opportunities for personal growth.
