Getting really anxious about my college applications. I'm eyeing University of Delaware as one of my choices, but I can't seem to find the application deadline anywhere. Does anyone know when it is? Also, do they use the Common App?
The University of Delaware (UD) uses a rolling admissions policy, which means they review applications as they arrive and continue to do so until they've filled all spots for the incoming class. However, for the best chances, it's recommended to submit your application by UD's priority deadline, which is December 1. Applications submitted by this date usually see decisions being released in late January.
To answer your second question, yes, UD does accept the Common Application. This should make it more convenient if you're applying to multiple universities that also use the Common App. You just fill out one application and then designate which colleges should receive it. Make sure to include any additional materials and complete each college's individual supplement, if required.
