Texas A&M Nursing Program?

I'm really passionate about pursuing a career in nursing and Texas A&M is on top of my list. Could anyone share their experiences with the nursing program there? Especially regarding the classes, internships, and job placements.

Texas A&M has a robust and highly respected nursing program. Here's a breakdown of what you might expect during your time there:

Courses: The curriculum is thorough and designed to prepare you for the dynamic challenges of a nursing career. It includes classes in adult health, child health, maternal and neonatal nursing, mental health nursing, community health nursing, and leadership & management in nursing, among others. There's a strong focus on both the practical and theoretical aspects of nursing.

Clinical Experiences: Practical experience, such as internships and clinical rotations, is an integral part of the program. Texas A&M nursing students participate in clinical experiences across various health care settings, such as hospitals, community health centers, mental health facilities, and schools. Some students have also had the opportunity to conduct clinicals abroad, although this might be subject to change due to pandemic-associated restrictions.

Job Placements: Upon graduation, students typically have a high success rate with job placements. The College of Nursing has a strong network of partnerships with local hospitals and healthcare institutions, which can be helpful in securing job opportunities.
