I applied to Harvard under their Restricted Early Action (REA) plan and I'm pretty anxious. Can anyone tell me when they usually send out the decisions? I know I’ll get the decision by mid-December, but does anyone know a specific date?
Harvard usually announces the exact decision release date a few days in advance on their official admissions website, or through an email to applicants, but it doesn't provide a specific date in advance. However, over the past several years, decisions have typically been released around the middle of December, generally in the second week. December 13th-15th are dates seen fairly often.
This year, you should expect to hear back in that same timeframe. Just keep an eye on your email for an announcement about the exact date and time. Let's hope it's good news when the time comes! Please keep in mind the decision will be available via the status portal, not in your email. You will, however, receive an email notification when your decision is available for viewing. Good luck!
