Hey folks! I'm in the process of applying to MIT and wanted to learn more about when decisions are typically released. Also, where should I expect to find these decisions—in a mail or online?
MIT typically releases decisions in mid-December for Early Action applicants and in mid-March for Regular Decision applicants. Please remember that these dates can slightly vary each year.
The decision is posted on the MIT Admissions decisions website. You'll need to use the same credentials that you used for your MyMIT account (the account you created when you applied) to access your decision. MIT doesn't mail decision letters, so you'll have to log in to see your application result.
Remember not to stress too much about the exact date and time that decisions will be released. Instead, try focusing on relaxing and keeping busy as you wait. Good luck!
