Help with finding list of all military colleges in America?

Hi! So, I'm considering applying to military colleges in America but I am having a hard time compiling a list of all of them. Can anyone help me find a list of all military colleges in America or a useful resource?

Sure, I'd be happy to pitch in and help! When we're talking about military colleges in the U.S., there's a couple of categories you'll want to consider. You have United States federal service academies, senior military colleges, and maritime academies.

The federal service academies are:

1. United States Military Academy (West Point, NY)

2. United States Naval Academy (Annapolis, MD)

3. United States Air Force Academy (Colorado Springs, CO)

4. United States Coast Guard Academy (New London, CT)

5. United States Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point, NY)

The senior military colleges are:

1. Virginia Military Institute (Lexington, VA)

2. The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina (Charleston, SC)

3. Texas A&M University (College Station, TX)

4. Norwich University (Northfield, VT)

5. Virginia Tech (Blacksburg, VA)

6. University of North Georgia (Dahlonega, GA)

Additionally, there are maritime academies that offer a structure similar to military colleges. They aren't military colleges per se, but they do offer a regimented lifestyle, therefore, many people consider them as part of the list. These include:

1. SUNY Maritime College (Throggs Neck, NY)

2. Massachusetts Maritime Academy (Buzzards Bay, MA)

3. Maine Maritime Academy (Castine, ME)

4. California State University Maritime Academy (Vallejo, CA)

5. Texas A&M Maritime Academy (Galveston, TX)

6. Great Lakes Maritime Academy (Traverse City, MI)

These are the main institutions to consider if you're looking into military colleges. As with any college decision, take a look at these schools' programs, culture, location, and size to see which align best with your interests and goals. Best of luck with your applications!
