In college while also in the military; is this possible?

Okay, so, I've recently been considering enlisting in the military, but I also want to attend college. Is it possible to be enrolled in school while also serving in the military? If so, how would the logistics of this work?

Absolutely, it is certainly possible to pursue a college education while enlisted in the military. Many service members do so through distance learning/online programs, or by attending classes during their off-duty hours. Here are a few different paths to obtaining a college education while enlisted:

1. Online or Distance Learning: Numerous universities offer online programs, making it possible for you to complete coursework remotely even if you get stationed elsewhere.

2. Military-Friendly Universities: Some universities are specifically "military friendly", meaning they offer flexible scheduling, military discounts, and specific admission policies for military personnel.

3. Service Academies and ROTC: These are competitive and demanding programs where you commit to serve in the military following graduation, with your education paid for by the military.

4. Tuition Assistance (TA) Program: Each military branch has its own TA program that pays up to 100% of tuition expenses for semester hours costing $250 or less.

5. GI Bill: The Post-9/11 GI Bill can help cover tuition and fees, and grants a housing allowance and stipend for textbooks and supplies to servicemembers with at least 90 days of aggregate active duty service.
