If you are looking for universities that offer strong programs and support for active military members and veterans, there are several highly rated ones you might be interested in.

1. Georgetown University: Georgetown has a Veterans Office that's dedicated to assisting students in accessing their VA benefits. They offer a Veterans Support Team to help with academic success and resources for transitioning to civilian life. Georgetown also participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which provides additional aid to veterans attending private schools.

2. University of Southern California (USC): USC has a Veterans Certification Office that ensures veterans and their dependents get their benefits. They also have a Veteran Resource Center that provides services like academic support, wellness resources, and assistance with transitioning to student life.

3. California State University, Long Beach: CSULB has a Veteran Services office that aids in navigating benefits, academic and career counseling, and mental health support. They've been awarded the Best for Vets college title by Military Times for multiple years.

4. George Washington University: GWU is part of the Yellow Ribbon Program and has a strong Military and Veterans Service office. The office provides a transition course for veteran students and a hands-on support team. They're also partners with VetSuccess, a VA program.

5. University of Michigan: U-M has a Veterans and Military Services Program designed to assist veterans, current service members, and dependents. This includes resources for academic success, career guidance, and peer mentorship. U-M is also part of the Big Ten Academic Alliance, which aims to support veterans and military students across member schools.

These are just a few examples. Make sure to consider factors like the location, cost, your intended major, and availability of online or flexible classes when making your decision.
