Education Opportunities for Deployed Military?

Hi, this might be a long shot but I thought I'd ask. I'm currently deployed, if I wanted to pursue a degree while on deployment, what are some good colleges or programs to consider? Are they any flexible and credible online programs?

Absolutely, there are several credible educational programs that cater to the unique needs of active military personnel. It's wonderful that you're looking to leverage your deployment time in a productive way.

You might want to consider Arizona State University (ASU)'s online program. They offer over 200 degree and certificate programs designed specifically to be flexible and accommodating for students in situations like yours. Their student success center provides resources and support that can be helpful no matter where you're stationed.

Penn State World Campus is another excellent online academic option. They have a dedicated military support team to assist you with any challenges or questions specific to your military experience. Their portfolio of programs is quite diverse, ranging from Associate to doctoral degrees.

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) also offers flexible online programs, with over 200 accredited undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates. They're known for their military-friendly policies which include tuition discounts for active-duty military service members.

Regardless of the specific program you choose, make sure to contact your base education office to understand your tuition assistance options and get support with the application process. It's also a good idea to speak with a counselor in the program you're considering to discuss the timing, courses, and resources to ensure your success while you manage your military responsibilities.

Best of luck! It's commendable to juggle responsibilities while also valuing your education.
