Fraternity life at military colleges?

I'm really into the social scene and was wondering if military colleges have fraternities. Is Greek life a thing on military campuses and what's the atmosphere like, if it exists?

Greek life like you would find at a traditional university isn't typical on military college campuses. Instead, military schools usually offer a robust and tight-knit community centered around the structure of the corps of cadets, which is a similar but unique experience.

At a military college, such as The Citadel or the United States Military Academy at West Point, the main focus is on leadership development, academic excellence, and physical training. The camaraderie and bonds formed amongst cadets can be likened to fraternity and sorority life in civilian colleges, but it typically follows a different kind of regimented structure.

Events resembling traditional college parties or Greek life functions may be more limited or different in format, mirroring the discipline and respect that are integral to military training. And of course, all activities will generally respect the regulations in place due to the military affiliation of the school.

While you won't find traditional Greek-letter fraternities or sororities, you may find a rich variety of clubs, teams, and organizations to join, which can offer social and leadership opportunities similar to those of Greek life. So while the social scene might be different from what you'd find at a traditional university, many cadets find it to be an enriching and worthwhile experience with its own unique type of bonding.

Keep in mind, every individual's experience will vary, and your best resource for understanding the social life at a military college would be to speak with current students or alumni.
