Several universities in the U.S. are renowned for their high-quality programs in Nutrition. Here are a few that tend to stand out:

1. Cornell University's Division of Nutritional Sciences is highly respected. It has a well-rounded, interdisciplinary program that offers a broad range of courses related to nutrition, health, and food. Their strengths lie in both their research and outreach programs, which give students ample opportunities to work on practical and impactful projects.

2. University of California, Berkeley offers a strong program through their Department of Nutritional Science and Toxicology. Worth noting is their Metabolic Biology program which is focused on molecular mechanisms underlying metabolic diseases and their prevention.

3. University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is another great school to consider. Their Division of Nutritional Sciences offers a comprehensive and rigorous program. They offer a wide range of research opportunities and resources to their students.

4. Tufts University's Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy is one of the very few independent graduate schools of nutrition in the United States. Although it's a graduate school, the university's undergraduate programs in Biology or Biomedical Sciences can provide a solid foundation for the field.

5. Purdue University also offers a top-ranked Nutrition Science program. They have three concentrations - Dietetics, Foods & Nutrition in Business, or Nutrition, Fitness, & Health which you can choose from, depending on your specific interests.

Remember, it's important to look at the specific courses offered, research opportunities, faculty, and campus resources when choosing a school. Each program will have its own strengths and specializations, so definitely factor in your specific career goals as you compare these programs.
