Colleges in Hawaii suitable for future military service?

Aloha folks! I will be graduating next year and am keen on joining the military afterwards. I would love to know if there are any colleges in Hawaii that could prepare me for this path, while also granting me a degree.

Sure, happy to help. For those looking to incorporate military service with their college education, the ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) programs at various colleges maybe something to consider. The University of Hawaii at Manoa does have an Army ROTC program. This program can provide you with the necessary leadership skills and an understanding of the structure of military life while you complete your degree. It's a way to balance your education with getting prepared for life in the military.

Additionally, Hawaii Pacific University students can participate in both the Army and Air Force ROTC programs through a collaboration with the University of Hawaii. So you have the flexibility to choose a degree program from the wide array of programs offered at Hawaii Pacific University, and concurrently partake in the ROTC programs.

Another institution to look into is Chaminade University of Honolulu. They have partnered to offer Army, Air Force, and Navy ROTC programs. These partnerships provide excellent training and can be very beneficial to your military service after graduation.

So, there are quite a few colleges in Hawaii that not only grant you a degree but also prepare you well for your future in the military. When considering these options, you will want to think about what branch of military service you are most interested in, as well as what kind of civilian career you might want to pursue after your service.
