Absolutely, there are a good number of institutions in New York known for strong education programs.

1. New York University offers an undergraduate Education Studies degree through their Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. NYU's program is known for its solid curriculum and extensive opportunities for fieldwork in local schools.

2. Syracuse University's School of Education offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs in the field, which are well-regarded in the world of education.

3. SUNY at Albany - Their School of Education has several undergraduate programs, such as Human Development. They are also known for their research contributions in literacy, school psychology, and special education.

4. Hunter College is part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system and has a reputable School of Education which offers programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

5. Columbia University: Although not an undergraduate major, their Teachers College is one of the top-ranked graduate schools for education in the country. While you obviously wouldn't be enrolled at Teachers College as an undergraduate, you may be able to take advantage of some of the graduate school's guest speakers, research opportunities, and so on, especially if you take initiative.

As always, make sure to visit the colleges' official websites or contact their admission offices to understand more about these programs, their application requirements, and deadlines.
