What classes should I take in high school if I'm interested in pursuing business?

I'm halfway through junior year and starting to think about majors for college. I'm leaning towards business but not entirely sure which areas yet—maybe finance or entrepreneurship? I want to make sure I take classes that give me a solid foundation. What would you guys recommend as must-haves for someone interested in a business track?

For a solid foundation, you should definitely consider taking classes in Economics and any available Business Education courses your school offers; these will give you a basic understanding of economic principles and business concepts.

Accounting is also highly valuable, as it will provide the tools to understand financial statements and the flow of money within a business, which is critical for finance. If your school offers Statistics, that's another to add to the list, as it will help you with data analysis, a skill very much needed in business.
