Looking for advice on top junior colleges in California for basketball

Hey guys. I play varsity basketball here at my high school and I'm looking to continue in college. Due to some personal preferences and circumstances, I want to go to a junior college first. Are there particular junior colleges in California known for their basketball programs? Any recommendations would be super helpful!

As a high school basketball player, it's excellent that you're looking to continue at the college level. When considering junior colleges in California for basketball, one school that often earns recognition is San Francisco City College. The Rams have an impressive record and have consistently ranked among the top in the state.

Another school to consider is East Los Angeles College. Their Huskies basketball team has also experienced considerable success and, notably, produced NBA players before.

Fresno City College also has a strong basketball program. The team has a history of success and is well-known for its aggressive and high-energy playing style.

Finally, you might want to look at San Joaquin Delta College. They have a solid program, and their Men’s Basketball team has been increasingly competitive.

I'd recommend reaching out to the coaches at these colleges to express your interest and ask about potential scholarships. Keep in mind that the best program for you also depends on your individual needs, skill level, and long-term goals. Make sure to consider factors like the school's location, academic offerings, and resources for student-athletes when deciding where to apply. Good luck!
