Which colleges are best for an undergraduate organizational psychology major?

Hey guys! I'm really into organizational psychology and I've been doing a bit of research. However, I'm still having trouble figuring out which colleges have the strongest programs for it. Any recommendations based on personal experience or knowledge?

Organizational Psychology as an undergraduate major is a little less common but some schools do offer it. Schools known for psychology often have solid courses in the organizational/executive realm - even if they don't have a specific major in it. Rather, these concepts are usually incorporated into a broader psychology, business, or human resources program.

For example, the University of Michigan has a solid overall psychology program, and while it doesn't offer a specific major in organizational psychology, their strong psychology department will offer you ample opportunities to explore this area. They have a lot of resources for students interested in this subfield of psychology. Similarly, Stanford University's psychology department is top-notch and offers a rich curriculum, with some courses and research opportunities specifically focused on organizational psychology.

Pennsylvania State University has an Industrial-Organizational Psychology program, which is a similar field and often includes organizational psychology as a part of it. At the University of Minnesota, you can pursue a concentration in Industrial and Organizational Psychology as part of their Psychology Bachelor's program.

Keep in mind, due to the specific nature of Organizational Psychology, you might likely find more comprehensive programs at the graduate level. Many of the top business schools offer master's programs in this field. If broader psychology is your calling, during undergraduate studies, you may want to consider pursuing more specific courses or work experience in Organizational Psychology when possible.
