Top colleges for general psychology?

I'm still on the fence about what area of psychology I want to specialize in, so I'm more interested in a robust general psychology program right now. Could you guys suggest a few colleges with strong general psychology programs? Preferably in the US, but open to international schools too.

Absolutely, I'm more than happy to list some renowned institutions in the U.S known for their strong Psychology programs.

1. Stanford University: Stanford's psychology department is highly praised and offers a broad range of courses that cover the discipline's many subfields. Stanford's faculty is renowned, and there's a strong emphasis on research opportunities for undergraduates.

2. University of California—Berkeley: UC Berkeley offers a wide range of courses in psychology, providing a solid foundation across various fields. Berkeley also encourages its undergraduate students to engage in research projects.

3. Yale University: Yale's Psychology Department offers a vast range of courses and has well-known faculty providing various research opportunities.

4. University of California—Los Angeles (UCLA): UCLA offers an extensive psychology program with numerous opportunities for students to take part in research directly.

5. University of Michigan—Ann Arbor: UMich boasts of a highly respected psychology program that offers both a general and an Honors track in Psychology, providing students with flexibility to study areas of their particular interest.

As for international schools, the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford in the UK both have strong psychology departments with a global reputation for excellence in teaching and research.

Remember, finding the right program also means considering other factors like the environment, student culture, cost and financial aid availability, and your ability to meet the admissions criteria. It's also crucial to visit these schools if possible to get a first-hand sense of what it would be like to study there.
