Best undergraduate colleges for a BA in Psychology?

Hello folks, I'm on track to apply to colleges next year and I'm leaning towards a BA in Psychology. Which colleges out there stand out for their programs? I'm feeling slightly overwhelmed by the number of good colleges out there and would love to hear perspectives or experiences. Cheers!

Here are several colleges known for their undergraduate Psychology programs that could be on your radar:

1. Stanford University: Stanford offers a strong undergraduate Psychology program, with resources to pursue research as an undergraduate and a strong faculty line-up.

2. University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA): UCLA has a world-renowned Psychology department. They offer three separate Psychology-related majors: Psychology (which is the most general and flexible), Cognitive Science (which is interdisciplinary with Linguistics and Computer Science), and Psychobiology (which obviously focuses on the interplay between the two subjects).

3. Yale University: Yale's Psychology department emphasizes research experience and offers various subfields within Psychology, including cognitive, clinical, developmental, social/personality, and neuroscience.

4. University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (UMich): UMich's Psychology program focuses on research and offers several special programs, including a research-intensive program, an Honors program, summer research internships, and more.

5. University of Pennsylvania (UPenn): UPenn offers a range of sub-disciplines within Psychology, and the university's commitment to interdisciplinary studies can provide fascinating opportunities to blend Psychology with other fields.

That being said, it's important to consider other factors such as location, student life, size of the student body, and financial aid when choosing a college aside from the strength of their Psychology program. Take your time to research these aspects as well to find the best fit. Good luck with your college search!
